2008 Christmas Mix, Side A
Two Flavors this year, a G-Rated and R-Rated mix. Too many of my friends have wee ones that shouldn’t necessarily be hearing Ben Folds drop the F-bomb or listen to just what happens in “Merry Christmas I ****** Your Snowman.” You get my drift? (Drift? Snow? Get it! Ah, bah humbug to you too.)
We’ll start with the much more “family-friendly” choices, with some love thrown to my time in Austin via Dale Watson and Brave Combo. Also, how can it be Christmas without a little old-fashioned love from Mel Tormé and Wayne Newton?

2008 Xmess Mix, Side A (G-Rated)
1. Christmas in Vegas - Dale Watson
2. Sleigh Ride - Los Straitjackets
3. Blue Christmas lights - Buck Owens
4. Merry Christmas Baby - Southern Culture On The Skids
5. Must Be Santa - Brave Combo
6. Christmas Medley Jingle Bells - Mel Tormé
7. Two Thousand Miles - Holly Cole Trio
8. Christmas Ball Blues - Leon Redbone
9. Christmas Is - Lou Rawls
10. Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! - Wayne Newton
11. Please Daddy - John Denver
Enjoy!

Let me start out with this: I absolutely hate Christmas music. Probably because my mother would always start singing (poorly, at that) Christmas songs shortly after Halloween. And blasting it non-stop as soon as there was any radio play.
Having said that, X-Mas Mix ‘07 (I think it was ‘07, it was the one with Holiday Road as the opening track) was awesome. G-08 turned out great; I’m looking forward to R-08.
Boon may have just made this grinch’s heart grow 3 sizes today.
Boon - This is great!!! I love it!!!
