He’s throwing bananas under my wheels

Kool Keith finally resurrected Dr. Octagon after years of people begging, pleading and offering all sorts of enticements. If you know anything about Kool Keith you can only imagine what those enticements must have consisted of. I envision women, fruit, G.I. Joe figures, the entire Jem series on DVD, gallons of Astroglide and a LOT of surgical gloves. That’s just me though.

This isn’t the Kool Keith from the Ultramagnetic MC’s or even from the countless albums since. It’s a stranger, darker, spoken word Kool Keith and I love it. This track had me in the first few seconds with the slide guitar and Keith’s narration as a trucker on a dark highway.
